JIVE WISE

JIVE WISE here (a.k.a DJ Scottie), this is my electronic alter club ego. Playing at clubs allows me to explore deeper into a specific genre, really opening up the creativity and diving in with the research and prep before a set! I think really researching and digging into old crates to find the perfect mix of songs is half the fun, allowing you to play out and educate the crowd on some classics, rare finds, and overall bangers in the set!

Past residencies I've had were Penny Pitcher Thursdays at BeHereNow in Muncie, IN back in 2018 playing Trapstep and Disco. Back in 2020 at Beech Bank Brewing's Takeover Tuesdays playing techno, house, moombahton and breaks in Beech Grove, IN. And my latest residency is Bubbles & Beats at Plat99 Mixology lounge downtown at the Alexander Hotel doing House, Jazz, and Lo-fi hip hop. Local Broad Ripple Resident and naptown native.

I love all kinds of electronic forms of music, but I'd have to say my absolute favorite is electro-funk/nu disco with a side of futurebass! The stuff that just gets your head bopping and feet tapping to have a great time and just enjoy the moment.

Nite Owl Electronic Mixes

Nite Owl takes you on a journey through minimal electronic music. Mostly non-vocal EDM of all genres, getting a little deeper in the mix, to help you study, get focused, or chill. Pulling from trance, nuwave, disco, chillstep, electro, funk, etc.
